Los Barriles is located in the transition area of Baja Californina Peninsula’s Sierra de la Laguana where the hills become sandy flats.

Seasoned anglers come from all over the world to fish the waters of the Baja California Sur, Mexico.  It’s really more of a hunt with a flyrod than a fishing expedition.  Our fishing partners in this area are based in Los Barriles.

This area of Mexico offers both modern and traditional lodging.  You can really find some deals if you are on a budget.  For those that are looking for more upscale lodging, there are plenty of choices. 

There are more choices near La Paz, Baja California Sur; however, it is about an hour and half away from Los Barriles.

Food

Remember, you are in Mexico so if you are not used to the area NEVER drink the water!

There are outstanding places to eat all around Los Barriles. And there are plenty of local restaurants that will cook the catch of the day for you!
